What you said was that it should have been destroyed. And what actually does happen over here is people attempting just that -- pulling all copies with the offending title, content, whatever and destroying them. Leaving only the newer, cleaner versions.

We're dealing with both language and culture differences obviously. But it's all too common here for that term to be quite literal where books are concerned.

Oh then i understand i meant erasing/changing the offending title.

I was talking about the title, not the book itself.
