I hope so too. Thanks for making me fell welcome again, AquaFan. It's been a long time since my last contribution.
I'm a bit rusty, but I 'm cooking some ideas.
About your great wallpapers, classics for a reason right?
George Perez is amazing. Love his WW.
By the way, Is there a "standard" resolution? because I see lots of resolutions through these pages. 1024*768 seems kinda small for today's LCD... maybe 1280*960 (4:3) or 1280*720 (16:9), what do you think?

You're right, it has been a while since you've had a monitor duty shift, but it's like riding a bike, no worries! And thanks for the compliments! They are classics, both the artists and the characters!
As for resolution, I'm really not too sure about anything other than what I'm using. Which is 1600 x 1200 (also a 4:3 ratio). According to this chart, I'm at the second largest size for that ratio and I don't think there are many monitors out there running 2048 x 1536, so that works for me. Anyone with the same ratio can resize the wallpaper for their monitor without distorting or cropping the image, which is my goal.
Further down there's a chart with percentage of users and 16:9 and 5:4 seem to be the most popular ratios, with 4:3 taking third. I make my wallpapers to fit my desktop, so until I get a different monitor, I'll be working in a 4:3 ratio.
I can't wait to see what you've got for us... no matter what ratio!
