Oh, and another thing: the correct phrase is "I couldn't care less," not "I could care less."

Saying "I could care less" really implies that you really do care, to some degree.

Oh! Oh! And when you say stuff like "No one cares about such and such character," what you really mean is that YOU don't care about such-and-such character. Not everyone shares your opinion, so get over yourself!!!

Theres a reason why I don't really do anymore debates there much anymore. Its hard to have a friendly debate and all when a 3rd party thinks your being an ass to people. It sucks , its ruined the fun for me a lot. I hate seeing it each time.

I choose to just walk away from them now. That way everyone will be happy and I won't be portrayed as an asshole by debating the subject.

There are certain personalities I just don't gel, with.

One of those is the "I'm always right" type of guy. This guy, will continue to argue a point on and on constantly, even when you put the information, that says he's wrong right in front of his face.

Another problem with this guy, is that when you discuss something subjective with him, he's also always right. If you like the colors of a painting he'll tell you that the painting sucks and you're wrong for liking it.

These are immature idiots who have no place in an intelligent discussion. If you can't say "You're right. I was wrong." You shouldn't be on the internet having conversations with grownups.

Wake up! Being wrong is not an embarrasing thing. Apologizing is not an embarrasing thing. And allowing other viewpoints other than your own is the mature way to act. If anything, it brings meaningful conversations to a close, and builds friendships.

And...you're not fooling anyone. Your opinions aren't facts, the facts aren't wrong, and arguing otherwise all day doesn't make you right.
