Finished Mafia II recently. I enjoyed the storyline and the action portions of the game were fun, but for a game that looks like a Grand Theft Auto clone it couldn't have been more rigid. Why create the Empire City sandbox if you don't intend to use it to its full potential? It almost felt like they used the driving parts as a means to make the game seem longer than it is.

Flower, Sun, and Rain is teaching me two things. 1) I really have to stop buying games based only on the title catching my attention, and 2) I should probably stop trying to figure out how Suda51 is able to make games that are compelling without being fun in the slightest. It's really the kind of game that only appeals to obsessive compulsive test takers, but it turns the mind screw up so high that it's still interesting. Keep GameFAQS handy though, because it runs on moon logic and ntohing makes sense, but it's Suda51 so you have to expect that.

On the other hand, it has a great soundtrack!

It's one of those arty games that makes you do stuff that isn't fun for a vague arty reason. For example, making the player walk huge distances. The developer is saying "Ha ha, I can make the player walk huge distances, it's a comment on how pointless playing games is!" Sure, the music's great, but it doesn't change the fact that vast sections of Flower, Sun and Rain are spectacularly boring.

I did well with the puzzles -- there was only one in the main story I couldn't solve (I was stuck on that one puzzle for months before checking online). It was the one with the wall full of numbers. Actually, at one point I was on the right track but made a mistake adding up the numbers... arrgh. I kind of liked that all of the puzzle solutions involved math -- it was like an obsessive compulsive disorder sim.

Apparently Flower, Sun and Rain is the final game in a longer story. To be honest I doubt that having played the previous games would make the story any clearer.

That said, I loved Killer7. One of my favourite games.

On an unrelated note, I just finished Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. Awful, awful game. The only cool thing is that I only had 1hp left when I defeated the final boss, so the last minute of the battle was intense. Fortunately I'd raised up my magic-type Pokemon and Pikachu zapped Dracula with a million volts and he died. "Pika-chuuuuuu!"

I heard they were working on porting them and bringing them over, but alas, that idea was scraped. Oh well, I'd rather they work on new insane games than just port old insane games anyway.

Unless they decide to port killer7 to the Wii, because that's basically the came the system was designed for. But again, alas.

I finished up New Vegas and am getting back into Dragon Age which I got just a few days before New Vegas was released. I've tried two of the opening stories so far, going to try a few more and see what I like.

A whole lot of Dance Central for Xbox Kinect.
My Heroes For Hire: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, The Falcon, Ant-Man (Scott Lang). White Tiger IV and Powerman would be interns.

I got it yesterday and played for about an hour. Could not even get into a multiplayer game so I went for some zombie mode and campaign.
It's a smooth game if the graphics are somewhat ugly.

I don't really care if they never are -- I was burnt too badly on Flower, Sun and Rain. If I want to be bored I'll play Final Fantasy XIII again.

I was able to get into multiplayer, but I only played for about an hour as well. Haven't played zombies yet, and I have watched my girlfriend play campaign all the way through.

Been playing Black Ops this morning. Went through half the campaign so far. I am glad they finally gave these people voices. I get annoyed with the mute crap. Also went online and ranked up a bit. I'm loving the training grounds. A good way to test weapons and perks outside of multiplayer. Also to see which map you're good at and which map you suck at. So far I'm liking the Nuke Town, although it looks creepy. lol

Anyway, the story is good. And I'm also happy that they added split screen online. I don't know if it lets you do it with four people like Halo, but is still cool. Speaking of which, they have theater in this one. A good way to find cheaters if you're hunting for them. lol

The Seven Sins of Star Wars

    1: Yoda can beat God
2: Blaster pistols can blow up planets
3: Lighsabers are as hot as the sun
4: Luke Skywalker can move black holes
5: Star Destroyers can blow up planets
6: Darth Sidious rips Superman's head off
7: General Grevious has Force TK

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is not canon to anything. Nor is the new Clone Wars movie.

It's a creepy map. I mean, really. It's not often I see human size dolls around the neighborhood. lol Is like, they're watching you.... >__>

Anyway, I'm almost done with the campaign. The story is awesome. Though I felt sorry for Mason. I mean, good god. Those people were sick.

Though what would you expect when you have a Russian and a German working together?

Got back to playing both Assassins Creed games, the first one is just dull and not worth replaying IMO, the second starts in a fun way, and the extra added things to do make it even more of a pleasure to play

I also play Final Fantasy XIII, I find the story so far to be boring, and all you do in it is just run and fight, and I'm not a fan of RPG fighting style, at least here the player can know when is his/her enemy about to fall, it's a relief. I'm still in the cave after just beating the Val'C, or howeever they spell that

Will soon be playing X-Men Origins Wolverine: Uncaged Edition, hope it would be worth my time
