    Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PS2)
WOW, after getting back to play this one after sometime of playing current PES, I realize the huge difference in poilishing graphics for the new gen, not something that was there in the PS2 games. I still prefer playing PS2 games though

I've picked up Final Fantasy XIII again after dropping it due to lack of interest awhile back. For some reason, I'm enjoying it a lot more than last time.

After that, I'll start the first Dark Cloud game for the PS2.

Duke Nukem 3d, I've noticed older games sometimes give me a headache these days. Literally.

I eventually gave up on it, it gets way too difficult.

Its a shame, because when it is good, it is excellent.

Was playing Resident Evil 5 and finished it. So now I'm gaining points to get infinite ammo for weapons.

Other than that, I was playing some Alien Breed. The second game came out and I haven't finished the first one yet. So I'm just trying to catch up.

Is the first one good enough?

Well, I found myself this past weekend playing Lost Odyssey, only to have my ass handed to me once more by that living ice boss. I'll have to resort to a strategy guide, sadly.

Also played a bit of Ikaruga, Geometry Wars 2 and Turtles In Time: Reshelled.

Thank you for teaching me about love, patience and caring. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope that wherever it is you are now, you can run and play as much as you want.

You're asking about Alien Breed, right?

Is not exactly an awesome game. There are some parts of it that are a bit annoying. Those aliens are like freakin' cockroaches. It gets to the point where you're nearly out of ammo. Mind you, the assault rifle carries 200 rounds a mag, the pistol carries 30 and is unlimited, and other weapons aren't bad either. (The pistol looks more like a canon though. lol)

You get the shot gun, (which they call it a shot canon) flamethrowers, and some electric gun. So yeah, you get plenty of ammo, but if you're the type that fires a lot of rounds without caring enough for aiming, then you're pretty much screwed.

Other than that, the use of grenades can sometimes fail to save your life. I don't think grenades are that useful anyway. Stun grenades too. I don't know. I rarely use them. And when I do, they don't seem that useful.

The game has co-op, but you don't get to see cinemas. And I think you have to finish a level to play them. What's good about co-op is that you can share screen with another person using the second controller. (Which means is not split screen, and you can't rotate camera. Ugh. What the hell?)

So overall I think it is a good a game. I don't know if it's your cup of tea or not though.

I wasn't that convinced. It says you can use hydro kinetics, but you don't even get to see them? What the hell? Aside from that, it didn't really look interesting to me.

Thanx for the info. It looks like it's right up my alley. I'll try the demo just to be sure, though.

Well, I just got Darksiders. Nice action game, I'm definitely enjoying it. And this coming weekend I'll start with Dead Space, which just arrived.

I used to play Hot Pursuit on the playstation. It was really fun and my favorite racing game next to Mario Kart. (Normally I don't like racing games, but these two were exceptions.) When I saw this trailer, I freakin' cried. Then I saw this one and wanted it even more.

For those that keep saying that EA sucks or whatever, I doubt they'll disappoint with this.
