Finished Metal Gear Solid 4 for the upteenth time, and each time I do, it reminds me just how far the rest of the medium has to go to get caught up.

Took a brief break from Paper Mario: Sticker Star to play the new (free!) retro-themed DLC in New Super Mario Bros 2.
Got the new Prof Layton and Scribblenauts Unlimited at the same time as Paper Mario but haven’t touched either yet.
New and improved me. Now with a CAPITAL “B”.
The Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3. Loving it so far.
Just had Hitman: Absolution delivered. Is it awesome?
I am currently playing Persona 4 Golden on the PS vita. In my humble opinion; It is amazing!
SHSO Squad Level, - 15??
Signature Hero - Armored Spider-Man
Marvel Heroes - Closed Beta Tester
The whole thing is an elaborate commentary on the industry's creative sterility, the excesses of the military-industrial complex, the reluctance that older generations have for passing the torch, and the dangers of hero worship. Metal Gear Solid went from a story about how war is bad, to a story about how control of media is bad, to a story about the preciousness of individual and the way it's lost through selfish interpretations.
The main dramatic story about Snake's aging is a powerful dramatic hook in and of itself. The rest you need to know what to look for to get it, but I think the meaning of the cutscenes does a lot to inform and improve the action.
Rented Goldeneye Reloaded for PS3, which is now on my Christmas wish list!

At the moment I'm juggling Dead Island, Oblivion. Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning, DC Universe Online, and GTA IV (Free Mode). These are the games I pick up maybe for two hours a week, as my interest comes and goes.
The only games I play daily are on handhelds, while commuting--Might and Magic 2 (old school) and the Capcom arcade version of Alien vs Predator, both on my PSP, and a few rounds of Phantasy Star Zero as I lay in bed watching Seinfeld before sleep (hunting a few VERY rare weapons).
Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse just because Gamefly said "Here, we can't send you Hitman yet."
Angry Birds Friends winter tournament
Gah, why do they do that to special season competitions? Unlock one stage each day?
