I had to put this here because we don't have any other general game talk thread and i didn't feel it deserved it's own thread.

I have a buddy who works for Atlus, my one friend in the game industry, and he's been in japan for a little while for work. He said a new term has come up among japanese gamers, and i got a good laugh out of what it means.
    Namuraish.
Named for Tetsuya Nomura, the guy who heads kingdom hearts and final fantasy, the term means any games plot that can be described by using many nonsense words and connecting them with random verbs.
Also, Jersey Shore is apprently called Macaroni Rascals.

A bit of Skyrim. Still level 51, but that's about to change. Haven't played much lately.

finished ME3 (did NOT like the ending) and I started playing MP AFTER I had finished the darn game. Shame on me for not knowing. Anyways, I guess I'll start a new playthrough after the "galactic readiness" has improved enough.

Also, played the demos for Bloodforge and Deep Black Ep. 1. The setting for the latter reminds me of the first MGS.

Goodbye León (november 16th, 1993 - june 12th, 2009). You were, are and always will be the best friend I ever had. I will always love you and never forget you. And please, please forgive me.

Thank you for teaching me about love, patience and caring. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope that wherever it is you are now, you can run and play as much as you want.

I've spent a few days with inFamous 2. I do not see much that is different from it's predecessor but I am enjoying it a lot more. Perhaps it's all the crazy rednecks you get to electrocute.

Ha! I remember the days when I thought Japanese RPGs had such amazing plots. I was so young . . .

A bit of Call of duty modern warfare 3.

Well, that's not bad but for being honest nothing in this game really impressed me. That's fun, some moments in the campaign are damn epic and the multi seems decent enough but i don't know, a bit boring.

Finished The Witcher 2. Really fun game. Liked the ending, but thought there would be a little more.

Been playing a lot of Prototype 2. Makes me wish I finished the first game. Especially since I was near the ending. Oh well. Don't really like the perk system much, but I do admit you get your powers and skills quicker than in the first game.

Also played Bloodforge. Nice looking hack and slasher, but lack of powers to choose from. Only three, and one is really useless.

Other than that, playing Lunaminer, which is a clone of Minecraft, on my ipod. Fun game. Just hurts my thumbs a bit. lol And speaking of Minecraft, May 9th coming to Xbox! Also Total Miner. Another Minecraft clone. About the closest you can get as a MC clone imo.

2: Blaster pistols can blow up planets
3: Lighsabers are as hot as the sun
4: Luke Skywalker can move black holes
5: Star Destroyers can blow up planets
6: Darth Sidious rips Superman's head off
7: General Grevious has Force TK

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is not canon to anything. Nor is the new Clone Wars movie.

I went a little bit further through the Dwarf Noble origin in Dragon Age.
