I've started playing Alan Wake American Nightmare arcade game on 360. It's pretty entertaining for the price. I am a big fan or 3rd person shooters, especially ones that include a lot of exploration and/or upgradeable equipment. My eight year old son really likes it and I was thinking about buying him the full 360 Alan Wake game. If he and I enjoy American Nightmare is it safe to say that we'll feel the same about the first game??

Nightmare has better gunplay/action.

Alan Wake has a better story/puzzles.

I've played Uncharted and Heavy Rain. The PS3 exclusives I haven't played are God of War III, the Resistance, and Killzone Games. Resistance and Killzone don't look too appealing to me. Any other big ps3 exclusives I'm missing?

After 2 months I finally got the platinum trophy for Metal Gear Solid 2 HD a few days ago. Now I can move on to Metal Gear Solid 3 HD.

Little Big Planet 2, Flower's worth one playthrough, Infamous 1 and 2(Or just 2 i guess), Demon Souls! 3D dot game heroes, if you never played them on ps2, the Ico and Shadow of the Colusus HD set should be played by everyone, that;s off the top of my head, there are others but i left some out because you indicated you don't like shooters.

Im not a killzone or resistance fan, but i hate console shooters so it's a bias thing.

Deus Ex : Human Revolution.

Well, Batman Arkham City is quite fun and after 24 hours of game i still have a lot of things to do (only 56 % done, shame on me) but i want some cyberpunk goodness for a change.

And i still haven't beaten this damn game yet, bought it months ago, so yeah...let's roll.

I just started playing Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition yesterday. I've only played about 20 minutes but it seems fine so far.
