So only one member will be returning after Siege.
Looks like we'll probably end up with a "Heroic Age" Thunderbolts with a new purpose, and I have a feeling that means only Eric O'Grady will be sticking around.
This dissapoints me hugely. I was buying the book for it's current direction. While I can get that it can't stay as it is in the future I was hoping there's at least be some sort of follow-on. Plus we definitely wont have the Paladin/Ant Man duo that has been so fantasticOnly one member will be returning after this!![]()
Eric's my boy but what makes you think it won't be Paladin; returning? Pal's the most outwardly heroic of the bunch. either way, i'm going to be sad to see the team go. i definately wanted to see more of Ant-Man and Paladin hanging out. and Ghost has been a lot of fun too.
It could be Paladin. We have no idea what the new direction will be, but if its just flat out heroism I don't see Paladin hanging around for fun or redemption. Of course, the new direction could be something completely different and it could make perfect sense for Paladin to stay.
it could be a situation where one of them is forced to make amends. Paladin, in the current issue, shows that he has a working conscience. he realizes that he's taken a dark path. and he was once semi-heroic; aiding the Avengers, Captain America, Spider-man, etc. of course, O'Grady also says that he'll make amends to the mother of his child. i guess we'll see. i'm very excited to see what they do during Siege. it looks like they are raiding an Asgardian treasure vault.
Check out the O.A.W. Report at www.majinoaw.blogspot.com. You want to see why I say the things I do or understand what's in my head... this is the place to go.
Parker said he was bringing back that group of t-bolts (songbird, Fixer, & mach v) that we saw during the Widowmaker arc. he hasn't really specified whether it'll be as T-bolts or something else. he also mentioned there being a few "high profile" characters in the mix. i guess we'll find out. i'm curious enough to stick around.
p.s. the only thing we do know for certain is that only 1 of the current cast members will stick around. that could even be Norman, for all we know.
God I hope not! There is nothing more boring than rehashing old ground. Plus, if this is the "Heroic Age" I don't think reforming the same group who originally gathered as Masters of Evil disguised as heroes, in a plot to take over the world, is the logical jump I'd make.
I DO think Zemo will be involved though... and I think he's Ghost... ooooo, we shall see! As for who stays? God, that is a tough one. I love Ghost and Ant-Man; but Scourge is so awesome too! And both Paladin and Grizzly peak my curiosity in where else the characters can go. I'll be pissed if it's Mister X! LOL! The only one I don't want to stay!

"I don't know how to please you Lord, but I think the fact I try to please you, pleases you."
Great ending to #140. We sure know one cast member who won't be around after Siege!
Uh-oh, Eric vs. Cassie, Round 2. Hide the buses! There are also going to be some interesting match ups you probably won't anticipate, and some that you'll say "of course," like when Ant-Man goes against Stature.

Even if it is a "heroic age" Thunderbolts, the T-Bolts will probably still be in the shade of gray it has always been in, which makes for an amazing read, who knows what the Thunderbolts roster will look like after Siege, but I think it's a safe bet that Songbird, Mach V, and Fixer will be a part of it, (And I'm kind of crossing my fingers if some cast members of The {could be cancelled, could be not} Avengers The Initiative rounds out the Thunderbolts cast who knows
.)
