Yeah, I like it more than the Green Lantern and Captain America outfits, if you can say such a thing. It helps that I think they got a really good actor for Andrew Garfield, and who has that "weight of the world" Peter Parker body language, and he definitely has that skinny, nerdy, Ditko-esque body size as well.
im torn.
the colors are awesome,
they have the ultimate look bang on,
but,
i hate that the red around the waist is absent (or so it appears )
I would have preferred him to be more buff ( but it is the ultimate look )
i don't like the gloves.
I'm glad Christian Bale is finally getting the Academy Award recognization he deserves. He's got a great body of work for many years now, and its nice to see him get into the Oscar spotlight finally.
Also, on the new Spidey suit, I think it looks more like something a kid could make in his room, compared to the silver-webbing Raimi outfit. I like the skinner look compared to the Raimi outfit, too.

At first, my eyes popped out of my head when I realized they changed the costume. I did't know whether to like it or not. After 10 minutes of looking at it...I dig it.
Those metal cylinders near his wrists look big...it's gotta be the webshooters.
why cant we get a spider-man as buff as in the comics
The abundance of blue does give it a darker feel, and a sleeker design. I dig the hands, also.
Still, change is never good. Unless it's a diaper.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

I like the new costume. It looks less like a well-stitched superhero costume and more like something made out of athletic wear w/ the mesh texture.
I like the new suit because of the embedded webbing. The TM suit looks like he took puffy paint to it. Of course Toby's designs are much more inline with the comic red and whites but I don't think I need the costume to look exactly like it does in the comics.
I'm eager to see what the eyes look like.
