I like taking these Gwen aspects from Ultimate comics, it makes her more bearable and actually lovable, much much more lovable than the drama queen 616 Gwen was after her dad's death

Still not that keen on the Lizard, as I consider him one of the most boring Spidey villains. But Gwen is seeming better and better all the time, and I like the notion of playing Spider-Man as a sort of RL internet troll. Lol! That will give me some real sympathy towards those in society who hate him.

Assuming that gwen dies in this franchise I really hope she does find out. I always hated that Gwen died not knowing Peter is Spider-man.

I was always surprised that clone Gwen's reaction to Peter as Spider-Man was completely glossed over, considering that was the major roadblock in their relationship. Seemed like such a missed opportunity.

I'm not surprised. Gerry Conway was really big on starting the Peter/MJ romance. And he wanted to really close the book on Peter and Gwen.

"Star Trek" Writers Tapped To Pen "Amazing Spider-Man" Sequel

With anticipation ramping up for this summer's superhero films, it looks like Spider-Man should plan for an encore performance. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony has already begun development on "Amazing Spider-Man 2" and has hired writing team Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. The writing duo, who also co-created "Fringe" alongside J.J. Abrams, are no strangers to adapting fan-favorite properties into film with writing credits including "Transformers," "Star Trek" and "Star Trek 2." Orci currently serves as executive producer on the live-action adaptation of Orson Scott Card's bestselling science fiction novel "Ender's Game."

While no details were revealed about the sequel and what it might entail, "Amazing Spider-Man" director Marc Webb noted earlier this month that he plans to play with elements of the web slinger's origin -- including the story of Peter's parents, Richard and Mary Parker -- across multiple films.

"I wanted to give the audience something new, so that started off with getting underneath the parents’ story, which will unfold over probably a few movies," Webb said. "We don’t totally wrap up that story in this first movie. It’s sort of an ongoing mystery. That was something that was interesting to me."

Kurtzman and Orci currently serve as executive producers alongside Jon Favreau and Seth Green on the pilot for the 2012 ABC White House conspiracy drama "Secret Cabinet" with Orci, Favreau, Green and Michael Dougherty attached as writers.

I'm not surprised. Gerry Conway was really big on starting the Peter/MJ romance. And he wanted to really close the book on Peter and Gwen.

True, but to not even address it felt hollow. Conway could've even used it as another excuse to end their relationship for good, with "Gwen" angry at Peter for never telling her before.

Rumor has it that the Sony Executives hate Marc Webb's take on the film :


Devin Faraci of Badass Digest has returned from Las Vegas where he was covering CinemaCon, and has reported that while he was there he heard that there were Sony executives that loathed the new Spider-Man film.

Found this on Comicbbookmovie.com but I don't think that we should get too caught up on this, after all this is a unofficial source and besides, why would Sony Executives their new film anyway? Sony: ''Our film sucks but go see it anyway!''

oh and not to forget their the reason why Spider-man 3 turned into a mess so who cares? Don't interfere again Sony!
