Anyone playing the Star Trek Online Beta?

I won't be getting it (my computer is just too out of date and I won't be updating it anytime soon) but man, some of those screenshots I've seen are gorgeous. And I want to know if the gameplay matches!

I have had a chance to play a lot yet but I'll give my early thoughts.

So far it's been pretty fun, I'm not as immersed in Trek culture as I could be but there are some cool nods to existing characters, and Zach Quintos provides some voice talent as your guide. While the graphics aren't ground breaking they look sharp and clean and the overall feel is very much "Trek". I've only been to play for roughly 2 hours but early on you get to try out the multiple modes of combat, both ship and away team. It's pretty fun being in a fleet of ships and taking out heavy targets, it game is somewhat like a simplied EVE online in these environments.

As for the away teams you start off with one crew member and several weapons to pick from each having there own specific attacks. I'm not quite sure about the leveling yet but I'm pretty early on in the game so I imagine leveling becoming more important later on.

I'll post some more info later on....

Also if anyone else is playing I'd love some other input. I'm terrible at reviews so discussion would be helpful.

Right now I'm using my friends computer to play this, but I am going to upgrade my computer to play this. Though I'm upgrading my computer i'm upgrading for some other reasons as well. I'm upgrading my computer cause I'm not sure if my computer will run star craft 2, diablo 3 and command and conquer 4.
