It reminds me of the cover to Blackest Night #6.

Nobody does "Jim Lee Style" like Jim Lee. It's a good looking variant, and the man still drops jaws.

While I've got big time preference for Ivan's art (a little less stylish, and more like old-school comic art ... realistic, less hyper-muscled anatomy ... less hatching and more expression ... it still puts a smile on my face to see Lee put in a guest piece here.

    Default Hmm.

Looks like a bizarre mash-up of Tom Mandrake and Travis Charest.

Great cover, aside from two things: Atrocitus and Saint Walker. He did NOT get either of their faces anywhere close to right...

Every time I see Jim Lee draw Hal Jordan, I just think of All-Star Batman and Robin. Damn you and your lemonade! Doesn't help that theres a bright yellow guy on the left side either.

Still, if theres one thing Jim Lee can do, is he can still draw great superhero pin-ups.

At least he wasn't boring and gave corny speeches, so he's better than Blackest Night Hal.

Heh, they never get tired of putting those seven colors on covers, do they? :P If it isn't the New Guardians, it's the Earth deputies.

I hate to see him do stuff like this, just makes me a bit more ticked off that he can't finish what he was supposed to.

He's working on All Star Bats in earnest right now, and has been for awhile -- he posts pages and snippets from time to time. DC is just stockpiling issues, and he can't help how they decide to release the book. Also, he's not running around demanding that he do variants -- DC is asking him to do them, and if they had a problem with his progress on All Star Bats, that wouldn't be happening.
