... The Master Of Puppets has spoken.
Goodbye León (november 16th, 1993 - june 12th, 2009). You were, are and always will be the best friend I ever had. I will always love you and never forget you. And please, please forgive me.
Thank you for teaching me about love, patience and caring. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope that wherever it is you are now, you can run and play as much as you want.
The new Extreme DVD/CD Take Us Alive is due out in the spring.

A Dio Box set is coming:
"Last year, Dio was supposed to tour Europe but the trek was scrapped. During it, the band had planned to sell their Tournado box set. Now, Dio will allow fans to get the package. It will be a limited-edition set, each signed and numbered. Tourando includes the Killing the Dragon CD, the Evil or Divine DVD/CD, bonus material, interviews, photos and much more."
Apparently Megadeth is all touchy feely now that both Mustaine and Ellefson are all Christians:
"Bassist Dave Ellefson is now part of Megadeth once again and the rocker told Ultimate-Guitar.com that the reunion has everything to do with Christianity. Ellefson explained that being sober and having faith led him to realize the error of his ways, and he was able to express that to singer Dave Mustaine. In the interview, Ellefson also talks about what he would have changed in the past, how rehearsals for the upcoming Rust in Peace 20th anniversary shows are going and what he thinks of his bandmates."

Screw Europe, Dio needs to tour North America again.

No way! I read on ironmaiden.com that they were only doing European festivals this year.
And they're touring with Dream Theater! I just might see about seeing them in Cleveland and Detroit.

Free your soul and let it fly....
New Maiden has a title!
Awesome - thanks for the info
Well, the Cleveland show is on a Thursday and Detroit is only 3 hours away. Maiden is playing there on a Saturday. I've never seen a band twice in three days and Maiden would be my first choice. Plus Dream Theater supposedly changes their set list every night.
