What a tiny head Bucky has!![]()
Cassaday is not the same since he left Astonishing.![]()
Top 3: Batman, Wonder Woman, X-force
John Cassaday is a legend among artists.
Bucky doesnt' belong on this cover.
I like him, but he doesn't belong there.
This would have been a better variant for WWWTS.
I still want to see Steve's reaction to how the state of affairs are in the MU.

Because the series is about Steve coming back and the variant cover of the final issue should celebrate solely that and not have a pointless image of Bucky superimposed behind him.
That is the reason for my feeling on the matter.
It should be"I was right and you're all idiots.'
But Steve is legendary in the MU, among other reasons, for not being the vindictive sort of guy that would say this in hindsight. He'll probably say:
"What's done is done and we all made our choices for what we thought were the right reasons. Now let's get to work."

That cover is not the best the series has seen.....at all.
Besides, how many covers do they need for a story everyone has already figured out due to delays?![]()
I accept Bucky on the cover, he's an integral part of the story, but to so monsterously overpowering Steve visually, seems backwards.. like Steve is somehow carrying on Bucky's legacy..

Much like most of Cassaday's work, I understand that its well done, but it always leaves me cold.
