Yes, now we can really screw up everything using the inverse Knight rule.

The team entered the tunnel. The door slid shut behind them, enshrouding them within the consuming near-darkness. The purple light of Beadle's duck lent the place an almost ethereal quality and, for a while, they continued down into the blackness. They made small talk and occasionally felt the area shake from an explosion on the surface, the dull muffled sound of the boom causing dust to fall from the ceiling, but otherwise their progress was steady and unimpeded.

Then they heard footsteps coming towards them, someone was running and they could hear the harsh sobbing breathing of what sounded like a terrified woman.

She was approaching quickly and would be on top of them in a matter of moments.

Was about to write a post, but then wondered: is this a straight tunnel? If so, then Sol should be able to see her already, no? XD

Of course, if the tunnel is curved, then this might require the use of combat preparation. oO

It's a tight, one-person-wide tunnel where Mcgaffer went in first, followed by TMMB. If you can see through both of them, great.

It's a tight, one-person-wide tunnel where Mcgaffer went in first, followed by TMMB. If you can see through both of them, great.

One person wide doesn't exactly equal a completely blocked view if a couple of people are in front of you, unless the only thing that Sol can currently see if TMMB's back. <_<

It's impossible to see if there is literally no light, unless you have darkvision or something, but with the current light source, extremely good night vision and telescopic vision should be enough.

IIRC, we'd agreed on Sol needing to morph for powers other than enhanced senses, but no worries. It's been a long time, so I pretty much have to refer to Sol's sheet before I do anything too.

It's not actually important, particularly if it has the potential to ruin any suspense you're trying to build. Just thought it had RP potential over a more generic response, is all.

Done. Also elaborated on mimicry of natural abilities so that it's clearer now, and added a couple of additional notes mechanics of his abilities that I we discussed via PM but never got put into the sheet.

Y'know, that makes me think I should have copied the entire PM's I initially sent you and made his sheet two posts long, instead of squeezing it into one post in the first place. Then we wouldn't be having this discussion. My bad. ^_^

...hmm, the suspense is still in effect, but the fact that the darkness seems strangely unnatural gives some food for thought. Interesting.

Yes, though she's a touch younger and her hair is tied back in a messy bun.

And she's covered in soot, ash and dust and has no shoes.

Also, when I first read "Rick", I thought "Richter!", for some reason. :P

If this is a normal person, I think it's literally going to be the first normal, civilian, NPC that the group has interacted with so far. Should be interesting. oO

Anywho, holding off posting anymore till people get a chance to respond and stuff.
