But in all seriousness, that is an interesting teaser. Probably has something to do with the Sinister 666 storyline, given the various spider-characters that are being teased. Perhaps Marvel is trying to expand the Spider-Man line the same way they did with the Hulk, and introduce new twists on familiar characters.

Actually, I don't think the right is the regular red and blue. I went and looked at it closer on another website, and it seems that while the mask has the lines around the face, it's lacking the webbing connecting them. I could be mistaken though.

EDIT: Went back and checked it again. I was mistaken. However, I think the piece on the left is a close up on Spider-Man's chest and arms, with some sort of white mist in front of it.

wonder when they will reveal more or if they will.... the idea of adding a few pieces a month intrigues me.... but i have no clue if they are doing that.

It looks like part of another Iron Spider suit to me. I could be wrong though.

The nature of the tease leads me to suspect that the creators will update it and "fill in the pieces" so to speak, as the months go on until the next big Spider-Man story.

Hopefully it won't be as vague as the teaser images for Countdown/ Infinite Crisis over at DC.

I've seen the concept of using puzzle pieces for advertising purposes before, so its not as interesting to me.

The whole Spider-man group isn't so much of interest since we've already seen cover images of a bunch of Spider based character piled about not too long ago. Something related to the hunting Spiders arc. What makes this different from the times when there were other multiple Spider-men and women team ups?
