Hey Tom, will we see some interior work from David Yardin anytime soon? His covers recently have been amazing. Hes improved so much since his days on District X. Also, will we be seeing any Adam Kubert, Ben Oliver, or Cary Nord interiors in the next year?

Three things! (Thanks by the way)

I love love love that Mockingbird was brought back during SI. I also really loved the mini series with Ronin. Are there any plans that you can share regarding a follow up to that mini?

I tried to hold this question in because I know they are sometimes (always?) handled in the X-Office, but I have to ask since they are my absolute favorite characters. Are there any plans for a return of Alpha Flight?

New Warriors! I honestly didn't hate the latest version, but I would love to see the the remaining members return to a book. I realize Nova, Darkhawk, and Dagger are probably not available, but Night Thrasher, Silhouette, Rage, Firestar, Penance, Justice, Ultragirl, and Timeslip (most of which are in the Initiative book already) could make a great book.

1. Are there any plans for:
a.) Reptil
b.) A version of the White Tiger that readers can get behind? The current White Tiger has been a poor replacement for the original.
c.) Cecilia Reyes? Or even her brother Miguel over in the O.N.E.?
d.) The Texas Rangers (Living Lightning, Firebird, Armadillo, etc.)?
e.) Victor Mancha's future alter-ego Victorious in the 616 mainstream?
f.) Reignfire

2. Will we ever see the return of the Ultraverse heroes in the Marvel U?

3. Will we see Skaar vs Daken II any time soon? WW Hulks?

4. Will we be seeing anymore International heroes/teams in the same mode as teams like Alpha Flight, Winter Guard, MI-13, or Big Hero 6? I've always wanted to see Mexico's version of the superhero team. Or even Australia, Brazil or a Middle Eastern team.

5. Now that the X-Men are a society, will we see the following on Utopia: Flex, Radius, Ricochet, Sabra, Sunfire, or Adam X?

A) Yes.
B) Depends on the reader, I would think. The Hector Ayala White Tiger hadn't been a super hero since 1980 or thereabouts.
C) Don't know
D) Might show up in INITIATIVE at some point.
E) Need for RUNAWAYS to come back first.
F) I'm going to say no.

2) It's extremely unlikely, for reasons I can't discuss.

3) Didn't we just see this clash twice, once in DARK WOLVERINE and once in INCREDIBLE HULK?

4) Anything's possible.

5) Up to the X-guys, but I wouldn't think so.

Do you like Professor Xavier?
Will Viper and Wolverine ever get remarried? I think the union would be good for both of their daughters: Spider-Woman and X-23.
Why are some series started with one dollar more than the regular price for the rest of the series?
When will we learn what H.A.M.M.E.R. stands for?
Is there any hope for X-Treme X-Men ever being reprinted? I can't find the tpbs anywhere and I've lost some of my issues.

1) As much as I like any fictional character. It's not like he loans me money, though.

2) I hope not. I'm not sure why this happened in the first place.

3) Typically it's because the first issue is larger than normal.

4) Everybody knows exactly what it stands for.

5) It's not out of the question, but nor is there a ton of demand.

1) Mephisto can appear anywhere. I wouldn't expect to see him in the Spidey books any time soon.

2) JRJR's just doing the Iron Man and Thor Free Comic Book Day issue.

3) More than two. And I think the typical ideal is about six, but it depends on the creative team and the team in question.

4) We talk about this kind of thing every once in a while, so maybe.

5) You know, nothing comes to mind especially. Any book I felt this strongly about is probably already gone and forgotten by most people. Maybe that dumb graphic novel that established that Mary Jane learned Peter's identity the day Uncle Ben was killed, which tainted their entire history as far as I'm concerned.

6) OMEGA THE UNKNOWN. And Millar and Hitch's FANTASTIC FOUR.

7) At the end of the day, I do whatever Marvel needs done. But I'm not a big X-guy, and people probably wouldn't much like my X-books.

1. I enjoyed seeing Echo in NA. Are we going to see more of her?
2. Is there a set issue where we find out what happened on Peter and MJ's wedding?
3. Any plans for a Luke Cage ongoing or mini?
4. Was Ronin always meant to be Echo? You can tell me.
5. With the Spider-Woman series underway do you factor in sales of the motion comic when looking at the overall numbers the book pulls?

1) Hopefully. She's a good character, but nobody's really turned up with a great idea for where to take her.

2) Yes, in AMAZING, before #650 with any luck.

3) Luke will have a limited shortly.

4) Pretty much, yes. Brian explains the whole history in the introduction to one of the NEW AVENGERS hardcovers.

5) We take into account all revenue sources, yes.

Will Dr. Strange be featured in any events or storylines in 2010 after his mini?

The solicit to issue 4 of his mini sounds like it could lead into another story.

As for Charcoal, I can't fault you for your anger towards the greedy creators of that character. It's a damn shame that they let their greed get in the way of a great character. Hopefully those guys will come to their senses and patch things up with Marvel so that we can see the return of Charcoal sometime in the near future.

There's no patching things up over this. Marvel owns the character outright, so we can do what we want with him--but I choose never to do anything with him.

With those things in mind, can you shed any light on why nobody has taken advantage of her position? I do understand that she's often difficult for writers to deal with--as a few have mentioned over the years--and that she's not a character readers easily identify with. However, I'd love to see Storm at the center of things. Speaking of which, isn't it about time for her to step on over to the Avengers?

Has she ever even been in your sandbox? I know you guys have the characters divided by offices.

I think we have taken advantage of her position plenty, featuring her in the X-Books and in BLACK PANTHER, and in teh MARVEL ADVENTURES AVENGERS title and so forth. Not to mention her own limited series from time to time.

It's not impossible that she coudl wind up in the Avengers at some point, especially if the Panther does likewise.

What book would you recommend at Marvel that is really good but isnt doing so well in terms of sales? Not nessesarily gonna get cancelled but a book you think is really good but isnt where you want it to be. Really appreciate you taking time out to do this. Thanks.

And finally 3. Why not try a new writer on Ms Marvel rather than cancel the series? Though I love Reed's stuff I would rather see a new writer and a #51 than nothing.

1) We've already got a more-than-full acoutrement of web-heads.

2) 'Fraid not. But Roger is writing three more issues of AMAZING coming up.

What are the feelings at Marvel about the Eternals these days? I've read that Joe Q originally thought the characters had no future, then changed his mind and the Gaiman re-intro for the characters happened followed by the rather unsuccessful ongoing.

Is there a sense that they throw things too out of whack for the rest of the Earthbound MU by being so powerful (the ongoing seemed largely concerned with bringing them down to the level of the rest of the Marvel supertypes in that regard), or do you think there's an openness that they can have a regular place in continuity if the right idea for them comes along?

The decision to give Norman Osborn the guy in charge of SHIELD/ HAMMER. How did that happen? Who at Marvel suggested it? I'm curious as to how this came about. Was this a long term decision made before the Warren Ellis Thunderbolts or did it come after the commercial and creative success of said Thunderbolts run?

Will we be seeing more of Gravity any time soon?

Are there any plans for Genis-Vell or is he still going to be in comic book heaven for the immediate future?

Related to that subject, will we see the children of Mar-Vell meeting anytime soon?

1) It happened mostly because Brian Bendis really liked Warren and Deo's THUNDERBOLTS, and saw the opportunity to elevate the character.

2) Yes!

3) He's still dead at the moment.

4) Not any time soon, I don't think.
