Ulitmate Wasp -- isn't she dead?

Just wondering, since I know she died in Ultimatum, but I see a solicit for an upcoming issue of Ultimate Avengers, and it sure looks like Wasp on the cover.



(no, I don't read Marvel books, but I do try to keep up w/ what's going on. . hence my stupid question. So any input is appreciated).

Speculation. Hank Pym did speak of a Jocasta Project in Ultimatum though before he sacrificed himself.

Have they confirmed whether it was Swarm or Hurricane? And Pym's death didn't bother me either. Putting him in that ridiculous Yellowjacket garb seemed awful for the Ultimate U.

I swear I don't know why Loeb wanted them in their 616 uniforms. It looks completely foolish. But now he's doing a Defenders thing and they actually look like Ultimate costumes.


Anyway I'm sure it's Swarm, Quicksilver killed her in Ultimates 2. A shame about that, Quicksilver was finally getting heroic and now he's Magneto-lite.

I don't think Red Wasp is either of them, she's just someone who was part of the Liberators' army but not on the main team. She looks nothing like Swarm and has completely different powers. Not to mention the fact that Swarm went squishy under Janet's boot.

You gentlemen need to pay a little more attention to the dialouge. The new wasp is not the swarm nor the hurricane. Matter of fact, the red wasp is not even a human. If you listen to her lines, it's implied she's an andriod. In UCA 3 she said Starks reprogrammed her with some sort of chip. Don't believe me? Ask Millar himself.
