Reposting from Stumptown Trade Review:
FrequencySite is reporting that the CW has ordered up a pilot script for Global Frequency! This is fantastic news for fans of the 12-issue comic mini-series (by Warren Ellis), or for people who managed to get their hands on one of the pirated copies of the excellent 2005 pilot episode (which was not picked up).
Warren Ellis has confirmed on his blog that this is in the works.
With the success of shows such as Fringe and Bones, as well as the mega-popular police procedurals such as the CSI and Law & Order franchises, it is no surprise that the networks would be fishing around for some combination of the two. It appears Global Frequency may fit the bill.
However, I am not going to hold my breath on this one. This is just the earliest of phases. The scrip still needs to be approved, then funding raised, then a pilot shot. Then the pilot needs to be picked up... Like I said, this is just the earliest of stages. But, given my fondness for the source material, it brings a smile to my face to see that at least some steps are being taken!

I bet you it won't be even picked up.This is the CW were are talking about, if it does not have teen vampires and young people who should be in magazines and not on screen.Crappy network, will fine it too sophisticated for their taste.best bet was to go with AMC or showtime or HBO. less people will be watch but altest it is better on those networks then the CW.
