Default OMG - LOOK at this - it's awesome!

    Makura on Arata on Peters:
Artist Dan Makura just gave this incredible gift to Dad to put in the museum. The subject is original WW artist Harry Peter, as drawn by Louis Arata; the artwork on the glass was done by Dan - and, I swear he did a perfect Harry Peter WW!
Dan is an artist, but he just turned filmmaker. I'm looking forward to watching his movie about Irwin Hasen tonight [got iced out of the preview last weekend]. Irwin was doing WW covers at the same time as Harry Peter [matter of fact, there are numerous covers by Irwin credited to Harry...].
Anyhow - LOOK at this great artwork!!

For me at just seeing it, even more so for my father! Dan really blew me away with that - he told Dad that he felt that the Wonder Woman Family Museum was a more proper place for the drawing than in his home... what a guy!

I watched 'Irwin', the movie. Just wait!!!! You will want to be sure to see this one. It has been submitted for acceptance to the TriBeca Film Festival for 2010. I would certainly expect acceptance.

This film came in so far beyond my expectations that my jaw is sore from dropping and grinning.

Aside from being just plain entertaining, Dan Makara's film could be a major tool to letting other people in on the fun of the comic book world. And his artistic sense is top notch. I actually watched it twice [unheard of for me].

Now all you need is a picture of Grandpa opposite it as a tribute to Diana's two 'fathers.'
