Yeah, never understood why people went out of their way to post some high-pedestal crap like that. Reminds me of all the party poopers on gamefaqs forums who come into all the "hot video game babe" type threads to do the same thing.

something about the way that guy draws women is automatically hot. i think its the big boobs small waist thing most of his female characters have going on.

I actually consider that the exact problem with them; the way Oda draws female torsos/proportions just looks weird to me instead of sexy. Generally, the only times I find his women hot are by accident, like this page where all the weirdness below chest level is cut off, or this spread where Robin's torso just happens to work out. (Hancock seems to work more often than others, which is fitting.)

Fanart is a separate matter, of course.
