The Doctor made it sound like there was a price to pay for using it before all the commotion.

Still, from a plot perspective this is a pretty interesting development.

Don't forget that one girl who is amazed that he was able to use foot techniques without a ki center, of course she might not know he probably broke his ankle to do that (which must have already healed because damn he must have did a lot of running to avoid them for 30 minute).

This indicates either:

His Ki center is less broken that people thought (probability low too many people have confirmed the broken ki center)

His healing abilities are greater than anyone could have imagined and his body is slowly building a new one (probability decent, no one knows about the super medicine he took at the beginning of the story)

He is able to do it through sheer will and determination, plus being able to heal crippling injuries in a matter of hours. (also decent, but I've also never seen a martial arts manga downplay the importance of ki once its been introduced. It flies in the face of all the genre conventions, kudos if he goes that route)

Its also possible that this temporary ki center will bootstrap his natural healing powers and let him build a new ki center eventually.

what, the guy who just learned ki martial arts doesn't stand a chance against a guy who was one punching strong veterans pre time skip? I'm shocked. And pleased. Bet next chapter involves snaggle tooth getting another full panel punch to the face at some point.

Interesting.... I could see this being an effective way of neutralizing the raw power of the Nine Arts Dragon if they play this right and plan on using it against him.

So the kids doing meditation training. Thats unexpected given how much his training has focused on punching the crap out of stuff so far. Still it actually seems to suit him pretty well. Though it does means that we won't get to see how this stuff works in an actual fight until he actually fights.

I wonder who the person that was just taken to the hospital is. Given they just had a conversation this chapter about his mom who hasn't shown up in forever, I'd say she is a pretty good guess. But it could be his girlfriend too. I would guess that whoever it is was targeted by SUC to get back to the kid for not joining them as a threat.
