Wasn't it a Doombot that Squirrel girl defeated?
Doom is by far and away the best villian in the Marvel Universe for reasons that have already been written about.
Even when Gods or powerful cosmic beings have him on the ropes...he finds an exploit.
we're being told off by a squirrel, love it!![]()
"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. And inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." - Groucho Marx.
Superman Returns - Deadbeat Dad
If I could bribe any Marvel writer, it would be a story proving that it was a defective Doombot. The kids in Heroes for Hire found one discarded in the sewers of New York IIRC and they kept it around as a mascot. Maybe that is the one that Squirrel Girl encountered.
Doom should take up taxidermy as a new hobby.
Even a fake Doom knows what to do with a rodent ...

... What Gods dare stand against me?"
Posting from the dungeon of Castle Doom, Latveria
I love how ticked off he seems when he says, "Monkey Joe." You can almost hear the venom dripping off his words.
J00 peoples, how dare you not keep this glorious page in the first page. Shame on you, all glory to Doom!
On a serious *cough* note, I found this on DeviantArt, it does seems a bit familiar, but then again I have seen Doom in that pose a dozen times, so no wonder. Still, I find it a nice piece anyway and wanted to share:

Also, would anyone help me to identify from what comic is the pic on this shirt taken from?

I know I've read it, but I can't really remember which one it is.

That is from the cover of Marvel Double Shots#2, with a very intriguing Doom story called "Masks" by Priest and interior art by Paolo Rivera
That's from issue #4 of the Penance: Relentless mini series from a couple of years ago, art by Paul Gulacy. Speedball/Penance put up a pretty decent fight and was able to take Nitro with him, who was being kept in Doom's dungeon. I think Namor must have brought him there but there was so much about the Namor / Doom alliance that was never really exploited in any follow ups so I have to assume that's how Nitro ended up there.

Thanks fair lady. I would never have guessed those.

Your X-obsession is fascinating and almost commendable-bebopeva88.
