Probably not that big of a role. I know he's involved with Thor, but he's also got DoomWar with Black Panther to worry about, so he's gonna be a busy dictator.

It's good that Doom isn't really in Siege. Kudos to Bendis and Marvel...Siege + Doomwar + Second Coming is meant to change the landscape of Marvel. What better way to make Doomwar important...then to tell Doom's story in his own event?

Dooms involved in a lot of things right now. Placing him simotanously in 3 events that are occuring almost at the same time is probably overdoing it a bit.

This is my one beef with the whole Cabal thing; I didn't like Namor and Emma being taken off the board, and I don't like Doom being taken off the board now...

But I've still enjoyed it a good deal. Siege sounds rad.

They all ended up having their own thing spring boarding off Dark Reign. Doom had Doom War, while Emma and Namor had Utopia.

I do sort of wish we saw the Cabal do a bit more collectively before they came apart though. Maybe Bendis should have done some sort of mini like he did with the Illuminati somewhere in the middle of Dark Reign. It would have been interesting to see them have at least one adventure together. Ah well.

Yes, I agree. Even if they had done it in one issue , say at about the half way point of Dark Reign just to give the readers a status update on things. I like how they're doing it in the Fall of the Hulks Alpha one shot it. We see the Leader, Red Ghost, the Mad Thinker, MODOK and the Wizard all interacting in one well done intro.

They should tie it in with Siege by having Norman set the whole thing up. That Norman in a way use the heroes to take Doom down in Doomwar.
