I'm pretty excited for this. Cooke's art always blows me out of the water and I've been following Jonah Hex since the stellar job he did on issue 33.

He is a quality artist and apparently a big artist name that will do well for Hex.

Even if his style dont fit with Hex its good to see his passion about Hex.

I have been waiting for this for months. I hope I can get a hold of both covers. Darwyn Cooke is such a gifted artist and storyteller.

Well done to the entire creative team for reaching a 50th issue for Jonah Hex.

I love reading it in trades at christmas time.

Cooke's last Hex story set in the Canadian winter was fantastic. Definitely looking forward to this one, but then again, I'm always looking forward to Jonah Hex.

    Hex is simply fantastic.

just goes to show. Dan Didio will do his best to make a title last. Switch it up with new and old artists. Add some new covers and just support it everywhere he goes or gets the chance.

The fact is: Jonah Hex's sales would never have lasted over at marvel at any given time.

Hex sales are in the top 20 trades when the trade comes out so i'm sure that counts too.

Hex is great and i cant wait for the trades. I'm a monthly reader.

Yeah, the trades (plus the series' excellent sales overseas in Europe, which has enjoyed US cowboy comics for a while now) keep the series afloat.

Like Cooke's last issue, there will probably be a significant rise in sales for #50.

Hex is the last of DC comics survivor in my pull list, had 11 DC comics before and only Hex is left.

I dont buy the trades but i plan to very soon when i re-read. I have never bought a series monthly and trades before.

Too bad he couldn't write and draw Green Lantern while he's at it.

Not a big fan of Cooke at all. Too cartoony artwork.
