    Default lame

we know this is a lame marketing thing but it's not first time WWE has gotten into comics. in the 90's valiant published a line of WWF comics with Undertaker, Big Boss Man, Hulk Hogan, and all the big names then. David Lapham used to pencil some of them too!

I still own some Undertaker comics and found them entertaining because they went into the myth of the character while mixing the wrestling in. But this is going to blow donkeys balls. Wrestling based comics are never a good idea; just look at the old Marvel World Championship Wrestling comics for an example of how bad they can be

Well I've always said the WWE is like one big live action comic book. But will an actual comic fly or crash and burn?

It looks about as lame as the Street Fighter comic I picked up several months ago, or maybe as lame as the Mortal Kombat comic. However, those Street Fighter comics sold alright as far as I know, and the WWE has a far bigger audience, so there's a chance it can do well.

In a world where books and movies based on vampires who sparkle, abstain from sex, and hate violence do extremely well, and creepy blondes who wear sparklers on their tits but can't sing worth shit continue to be on the top 20, it's hard to say will make it and what won't.

Wow. Watching it is alright sometimes and all, but reading a comic about it? No thanks.

I love WWE but the dialogue is nowhere near as corny as that!

They really should have followed to fomula Chaos! Comics used. Take the conept of the character and create the world around them. It worked pretty well. Somecharacters like The Undertaker already have a mythos that can be used and widened.
I dunno about this, I'll give it a chance and see where it goes.
