Up until now, I couldn't really justify buying it, despite how awesome it clearly is. However, with the release of Captain Marvel #1, it occurred to me that thanks to the art and that costume, I won't be buying the book. And on the basis that Captain Marvel lasts as long as Carol's previous book, then I'll be saving the best part of about 125 quid, and the statue cost less than half that.

So I got a sweet statue and I'm still £65 up! Bargain!

I think they're experimenting with variations of it until they settle on something that works. The Cockrum look is gone at least until her current book ends.

Pretty much sums it up, imo.

You know, I just read that comic too. I'm not even going to nitpick because I hate when they fight and...I think you're right. If not explicitly then implied, and that's good enough for me.
