It is kind of interesting, her being the only "I've never been in a movie in any form" hero. Sometimes I do wonder where the support comes from. (Not that I'm complaining!)

Somewhat inconsistent, I agree. I guess you have to blame the artist for it (Steve Murray).

just saw the latest avengers episode and although she wasnt in it, carol has been added to the opening credits

Hate the new costume. I rather they went with the Avengers' Season 2 costume. Mask is important, along with longer hair. The sash looks stupid if he's completely covered in a bodysuit. Also, she looks like Stature, which is a bad.

As I said before, her look in Avengers Season 2 is good. This new costume in comics is not so good. It's usable, just need long hair back along with the domino mask.

That would be ironic if they don't want to call her Captain Marvel in the movies, because they already have a Captain character. So Carol uses the Ms Marvel name for the films, and she gets changed back to Ms Marvel in the comics as well, since Marvel seems to love to make the 616 stuff synch up with the films.

Speaking of costumes...

On a bit of a whim, I started a new art project over the weekend. I wanted to take a stab at the new costume again... but without any of my own uh... editorial adjustments. I'm trying to finish it within the week!

Every time someone posts a new picture of the new costume, one or two people will respond and say "Actually, it's not that bad", and I wonder if maybe I'm being too harsh by still thinking it's awful on every conceivable level.

And then someone posts a picture like this...

...and I know I'm right.

Her very first costume had a long, scarf-looking thing. There is a reason they got rid of it. Every other issue in her first series seemed to have some baddie grabbing the thing and trying to either strangle her with it or use it as a handle to bash her into a wall or something.

And what's with the bare midriff?
