I'd been reading through the past couple years of Uncanny from the start of Gillen's run, enjoying Dazzler's duo with Pixie for example, always fun stuff.

I'll definitely check out Wolverine: The Best There Is now, I forgot about that series, but hey since it's some good Dazzler I'm sold. We could always use more Dazzler.

I'm a huge fan of Minimates and I just found out that Dazzler's getting her own! Two if you count the variant.
I'm personally doubly excited because it's my favorite costume: the Blue with the Star. The variant will be the Konami Arcade version.

Unfortunately, she's going to be paired with Longshot, but what can you do.

Yes! Konami arcade Dazz finally gets some notice. I hope eventually they release her silver version as well. They've already done 4 Psylockes & 13 f***ing Jean Greys... wtf took so long to do a Dazzler. Speaking of which -- Marvel Legends, Marvel Universe & SHS need to get on the ball too

edit: wow... I just found out Jubilee & Longshot will be getting Marvel Universe figures this year (no mention of Dazz). Out of all the X-Men why is Dazzler (and Polaris) left out so often?

edit #2: Dazzler does, however, make a minor Marvel Legends appearance... she's one of the fold-outs for the "Tales of Terrax" included with each figure (Dazzler's is specifically included with the Extremis Iron Man figure & variant):

Rebelling against his master, Terrax fled into space, hiding inside a black hole. With her ability to change sound energy into light, Dazzler was the only being capable of reaching him. Dazzler tapped the power cosmic, gifted to her by Galactus, converting an unending supply of sonic energy into light, allowing her to penetrate the dark depths of the black hole. She fought, subdued, and returned the wayward herald to his master. Unfortunately for the aspiring songstress, while it enabled her to preform incredible feats of intergalactic exploration, receiving the power cosmic did not provide a boost to her singing career.

It's sad to see that after all these years Dazzler still isn't a regular in any book.

Dazzler is anything but regular. Writers haven't even been able to agree on her musical style, whether she's a star or a has been, a diva or down to earth, ditz or secret einstein, what her her hair color actually is, whether she's an Omega or a patsy, bad ass or Barbie doll. Of course they don't know where to put her in a book. We're talking about a character who is meant to be an avatar for the musician's dream. The comic book representation of mutant female cool. Marvel has been turning all of their mutant women in arm candy and for a character like Dazzler, who though she has flirted and gotten busy with men, has NEVER expected or depended on a man in her personal life to get her through. They wouldn't be able to "housewife" her the way they have Emma, Storm, Psylocke, Polaris, Siryn and the rest. She's always been an independent like Spider Man. Hell, she is the truer female analogue to Spiderman than SpiderWoman ever could be.

I keep faith in her though. You can bet that if there's a MU, Dazzler is there in it somewhere, making sweet sweet music.

Is that baby Dazz? Is she going to be in AvX? I've been so out of the loop since Dazz has been MIA, but I don't want to miss any cameos (or actual appearances, of course).

I've been MIA for a bit...but I just HAD to pop in and share this with you all...in a nutshell, I went full vegan about 11 months ago and was lamenting to my friend that I don't get to eat a lot of sweets and was sad that I wouldn't get a delicious birthday cake this year (my bday was last Monday). she told me not to worry and that she'd have her friend, a professional cake-maker type, whip me up a little something. well today the cake got delivered and this is the so-called "little something" she had made for me:

HOLY CRAP!!!!!! clearly homegirl knows me well enough to have a Dazzler and Emma Frost themed cake made for me...I'm pretty sure she's just been upgraded to BFFFFFFFF status (I don't know what all the extra F's are for, but they're good! lol). how am I supposed to feel ok with hacking into this beauteous creation and eating it?! it's just going to have to stay in my fridge forever I think....

I think it's Dazz for the power effects alone. The only other blonde x-woman missing is Magik, but the power effects is all wrong & she'd def have her signature sword & armor. I'd hope given her history with both teams she'd be given something to do in the mini. Dazz vs Spider-Woman bitchfest round II? :-)

for those that ordered the Bowen Dazzler statue, there's still no word on the Statue Marvels site/forum about it's release date (which was originally set for January), but Midtown Comics in NYC has it on their site with a release date of 3/21/12 -- so... fingers crossed

I haven't read the Pak run yet - are we talking alternate reality Dazzler or actual Dazzler???
