Rise and shine, Mr. Castle, you're a Frankenstein monster! I'm sorry, but that's a perfect splash/reveal page. I love this idea of the monster inside of Frank externally represented. I think everyone is focused on the way Frank was killed in "The List," but overlooking the more important events in "Punisher" #10 when he torched his family. Frank is going through some ugly business internally and externally. And he's going to kill a lot of people with those giant-spiked Kiss monster boots Tony put him in. He will be doing that most definitely.

So, c'mon - quit being a jerk and go buy our enjoyable comic book.
I wanted to quote this verbatim because I agree 100%. The bolding is my own, for emphasis, as it were.

If you can ignore continuity like this reader can, this is a ripping good yarn of a tale. The shock value of the List one-shot has left me curious to where Frank's gonna go after being sliced and diced. Long as the funds hold out, I'm gonna keep reading.

I'm sorry, when did Morbius become a genius? He was a specialist haemotologist, not a surgeon or a genius. Why does noone actually research characters before they use them anymore?

Your fine with a story featuring stereotypical monster hunters, creatures living in the sewer, and, oh yeah, the Punisher as Frankenstein! But, Morbius conducting surgery is too much?

This is one of the worst comics I've ever laid my eyes on. Seriously. Terrible idea. So corny. I wouldn't give this comic to my worst enemy.
Ugh, just utter, garbage. Who the hell signs off on this crap?
Sorry Rick, you might grab up a few of the mindless idiot sales on this one but other than that, I see this book taking a nosedive. Didn't Marvel learn their lesson when they had Punisher come back as an Angel/Demon hunter with powers back in the 90s?

I loved the story. Castle can only kill drug dealers, gun runners, and mafia bosses for so long. This obviously isn't permanent, but to take him in this direction until...say---a monster picks up a cosmic cube and wishes him back to normal, I think that this is gonna be fun to read.

    And I liked this.

So you're saying those of us that picked it up and liked it are mindless idiots?

    Is that what you're saying?

I'm sure this will be a nice bit of mindless fun for a few months before Frank gets returned to "normal" (as normal as a vigilante serial killer can ever get!). Remember a few years back when he died and was reborn as an avenging angel? I guess every now and then, like Batman, it's fun to take the character away from the urban "reality" into to some wacky adventures, then get back to business as usual.

I liked the artwork, but not sure about Morbius' buck-tooth nosferatu look + he has really not been taking care of his hair, maybe he should change his conditioner!

It just looks a too funny and at the same time a story with horror elements.
And the Punisher in the middle of such a story, looks awesome to me.

Franken-Castle was just something that had to hapen, considerating Frank Castle name.

Will be geting this for sure.

This post totally made me laugh my ass off.

You've probably been reading "mainstream" comics a lot longer than me. The character is a genius if the person writing him writes him that way. There is nothing you can really do about it. Come on, its really not that serious...

Think about it this way, this comic will mean absolutely nothing in a year or so.

Me? I applaud anyone for trying something new with the "mainstream".
