Are Marrow fans fond of her time with WeaponX? It's hardly mentioned. I'm curious.

I liked the Weapon X series for its entertainment value (obviously, my username comes from it). I liked the whole deal with the devil to make Marrow beautiful again. I also like her subplot with Mesmero. It fascinated me how repulsed she was by him before he raped her because she was once no different herself. Her recreating Gene Nation was so something she would do, but I wish she didn't. I like the mean, crazy hero Marrow who once happened to be a mean, crazy terrorist.

Wasn't she only in one-issue, trying out for the team? All I remember is that I liked Marrow until Alan Davis came along and basically ruined her. I wish CC could have gone ahead with his plan to have Rogue touch her and then form a bone cocoon around herself for several issues.

No, she was more or less a regular cast member. Toward the end, she reformed Gene Nation and Agent Zero killed every member but her as a means to punish her.

I think she enjoyed herself at the time, but she was pissed when she found out the truth. She punched him into a bathtub. It was basically what brought crazy terrorist Marrow back.

But she did not consent to sleep with Mesmero, she consented to sleep with random beautiful person. She has been abused all her life. To find out that the first attractive man interested in her was an ugly green man who was spying on her for Weapon X would be heartbreaking.

Davis did mess her up with that Shiar stuff. Blah.

Marrow was on the X-Men for a long time too. It's ashame she was just thrown away.

I also felt she was the original young female Wolverine.

I hate what he did to her. It was such a cheap way to make her "fix" her powers. She was so great being an ugly badass chick on her way to redemption.

I'm okay with it, cause I was happy with the fact that she was actually being used. I would have perfered she stayed with the X-Men the whole time, cuz it would have been weird if she returned to the team after Weapon X., but at least it was better than nothing.

I love Marrow!

And I really enjoyed her time in Weapon X, but mainly her defection and revival of Gene Nation. And I didn't mind her being 'prettyfied' as she was still badass.

Marrow's had some great interactions and 'friendships' with many different X-Men!

With Storm: While there was alot of animosity between them at first (especially since Storm ripped out her heart!). They eventually had a bit of a truce, but Marrow would still ocassionally give Storm hell


With Colossus: If didn't trust her cause of her Gene Nation days, but he would still help her out by pulling out shattered bones from her back. Sarah loved his art and stole his drawings, only to return the drawings with a story she wrote based on them back to Pete. He even took her on a roadtrip to show her natures true beauty.


With Cannonball: Sarah's crush on Sam was really cute. She freaked out when she saw Sam getting attacked by his "father" (Shadow King's doing) in Psiwar and tried to save his live. He'd thank her, and then she's get all embarassed and cover it up with tough-bitchyness! And she was sooo obvious about it! It was cute. If Sam actually stayed with the team instead of returning to X-Force, I would have loved to see them take it a little further.



As mentioned before:

She saw Warren as a saviour and probably the most beautiful person she's ever seen. She witnessed his wings being pinned to the tunnel's walls during Mutant Massacre and worshiped him for trying to save them.

She hated Kitty. It was hilarious cause Kitty would try to be nice and be friends, but Sarah would have none of it. She'd trow dead rats in Kitty's bed, and push Kitty around when ever she got the chance. I like Kitty, but Marrow treating her like crap was pure gold.

Remy felt guilt about what he 'inadvertantly' did to Sarah as a child. Because of him, she grew up in a world of constant war where you needed to kill or be killed. He felt that he ruined her childhood, and tried to protect her however he could. I actually liked how Alan Davis had Remy trying to protect her during that Skrull-story, I just wish it didn't end with Sarah coming out with her curvy-bone-bikini-crap.

I think that was my first Unlimited issue.

I liked it when she wrapped Emma in bandages and painted her orange.

I really ought to re-read Tieri's Weapon X run. Well, at least up until the Days of Future Never part. I remember enjoying it, but I was a bit younger both in taste and in age.

Even though I didn't want Gene Nation to die, there was something to be said about Sarah hunting them down and killing them for her Weapon-X initiation. Ruthless. At least we have them back for Necrosha.

I get the Marrow/Wolverine comparisons, but really, I think they're pretty shallow when used in one argument or another. Are we supposed to equate every imbalanced, violent, impulsive, and/or brawling character with Wolverine?
