The funniest part of that story was Mark Millar's idea to bring that dude back as a supervillain called "The Buggernaut."
Thank God they didn't go ahead with the original idea to have "Skip" be Uncle Ben...
There was a sequel.
There's even a song by the Black Lips about this issue, and if you think this was an alternate reality deal or something like that, Skip was referenced again in a later comic from 1987 where Spider-Man starts monologuing about child abuse in the middle of a fight across New York with a possibly very awkward villain.![]()
i think Skip should be the new Lizard.
That's pretty big thing to just throw in as part of his childhood, and I personally am of the opinion that it deserves as much canonicity as the Office Max comic book.
