...since Spidey admits that he was too scared to leave when Skip made his advances, the implication is that the older boy actually did molest Peter, making him one of the earliest villians that Peter ever encountered, and an all too realistic one.

Interesting. I suppose this can go both ways; he was or he was not molested. It would be cool in JoeyQ came back to this part of Peter's past.

this was just one of those stories told to open awareness for kids who had been molested and would have something to relate to

These awareness issues you can never really take as serious
like does anyone remember those free u.s. army comics where all the super heroes banded together to help the military in the iraq war?
Things like these you can never really take in continuity mostly cause they're never referred to or have any impact

It can be kind of like the movie Sleepers. Peter meets a differently-named Skip in a chance meeting and all the memories of his advances( or more?)come flowing back. He then learned through following him, that Skip is still a pedophile. Does Peter exact revenge?

I don't think Skip needs super powers, but it's not a bad idea either. It would give Spider-Man a challenge at least.
