Marvel has released a new teaser for their upcoming Avengers event, "Siege," launching in December 2009, featuring a burning Asgard plummeting to Earth. No information was given other than the issue's solicitation info.

let me get this straight ,the realm of asgard is falling toward earth , how does a realm fall , let alone fall to earth ,

Marvel ... know what would be great ... no more stupid crossovers or interlocking

stories .... let characters stand alone in their titles. Example : I want to see what happened to the mandarin ...who had taken extremis . And how stark is going to deal with .. not this BS about osborn having his armors crap.

or dark reign . let them stand alone for a year . give the crossovers a rest .

I do like the new deathlok aslong it`s stays away from the other titles .

Marvel is loosing a lot of money because of Blackest Night, in this month top 10 orders the first 6 were DC titles.
Marvel is hoping to get that money back with siege imo.

Try reading the actual books in question before you complain bout something. Will make you seem like less of an idiot.

In case you genuinely don't know Asgard has been brought back as a city and is currently hovering over a town in Oklahoma.

Okay we get it. Asgard under siege, the heroes fight back Ozzy's no longer in office. For a four issue limited series, this is getting as much of a promotion as a 8 issue event. Makes me wonder just how much they're planning on packing into this story.

Actually, Asgard falls in the first issue, and they then spend 2.5 issues fighting in the ruins of Atlantis, before having Osborne be defeated in five minutes by tripping on his shoelaces.

Well, each issue is double-sized, so it may as well be eight issues!

besides what Magneto Rocks said I think that in order to understand what happens to Asgard you need to read Embedded too so that makes it 8 issues/ Two a month
