"Arguably the most anticipated game of the year, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" hit stores everywhere this week."
Wrong, Killzone 2 was by far the most anticipated game of the year.
If not killzone 2 then it would be street fighter 4 and then Resident evil 5.
It's not that Modern Warfare isn't better, its just that these games are all classics (exception to killzone 2) that have a larger fan-base (if that's even possible
)
That's like saying if all the porn was made by my grandma I would be able to sustain a real relationship.

MW2 is set to be the highest selling video game ever. how does that not make it the most anticipated title of the year? the presales of this thing were ridiculous.
Killzone 2 is a PS3 exclusive which cuts the sales in half right there. SFIV and RE5 are both great games, but MW2 will outsell them by bazillions-hence it has the larger fanbase.
Plus, if any exclusive is the most anticipated title of the year it is Halo:ODST.
but, about the comic: cover art looks great. i hear the story in the game makes no sense. hopefully the comic does.

I am a big Lapham fan, but despise Call of Duty....
Anyone pick this up who is a fan of Lapham's other works, is it the same style and depth of the writing, or is it just a "pay the bills" kind of job?

Killzone 2 first trailer come out on 2006 E3, so I stand correct when I say that this was the most anticipated game of the year.
