Wow, Issue 5 is one of the best so far. I love this series! I even got sucked into the preview issue becasue of the whole comic within a comic deal. I hope Shaky Kane can do more art. I can't get enough. Maybe he and Hine can do an ongoing.
David Hine and Shaky Kane comes to my column and tells me their favorite horror books and movies.

The plot is moving and it's moving fast! The conclusion is next issue and knowing Hine books, I've no idea where the hell this is gonna go. It doesn't help that we have Shaky also on art and coming up with the story! A lot of the heroes are going down and its up to Steve to find the Creators and save them. And also figure out what the heck is actually going on. Great fun and I can't wait to read this all in one sitting. I'm excited for the conclusion yet sad that the run is ending. I hope it's successful enough to warrant a sequel.

I've just read all six issues, loved every page, and here's why:
1. Strong undercurrent of collection culture throughout the whole arc. I'm a collector myself and I get the joy of finding this or that treasure in the attic. I haven't encountered a comic convey the joy of collecting since Robinson's Starman.
2. Raunchy pics. Yup I love the naughty sex references and the all out nudity.
3. Most of all. this is a fun read. capital FUN. It's just a joy to follow as the story unfolds.
That said, the ending could have been better but. But. The buildup was so good nothing can ruin this. Give yourself the 'Bulletproof Coffin' experience!
I'm on the edge of my seat for the sequel in January! Can't wait!

I cannot wait to read the new Bulletproof Coffin! So excited!
I remember getting the first issue of Bullet because the cover intrigued me and being blow the fuck away, definitely a new spin and a new breath of air to comics. Also, as the series progressed, it got more paranoid and more crazy/surreal, loved it.
Also, Shaky's art is killer, definitely has his own style and feeling to it.
Great story and art, what's not to love. A fun light read, looking forward for more.
Alright fellas the new series drops this Wednesday!!!! I'm gonna haul ass to my LCS as soon as my digital painting class is over.
