Vision Appreciation

People forget that Kurt Busiek was developing the Vision, giving him his own personality and a life outside of the Avengers. He made lots of friends in Chicago and even had that young woman Darcy develop an attraction to him. Alas, that's all out the window now.

I hope they will do that!Anyone except Bendis will be nice!!For artist i would like Mike Deodato or Jim Chueng!!What do you think?

I have a question,why they bring back the Vision??From the day he came back is a boxing bag to everyone!!First was Osborn,next was Captain Marvel(in secret Avengers) and now Havok and Polaris(AvX 07) take him down just like that!!He was powerful and one of the best Avengers ever!!why they make him like a puppet?

She-Hulk hasn't fared much better lately. i'm hopeful that once AvX is over Vision won't be a punching bag anymore.

I missed that from Vision. Sure it was ripping Martian Manhunter's Chicago detective identity. But at least it gave story focus to him aside from Wanda. Plus I was hoping to see more development between Carol and Vision.

Isn't Bendis doing something with Ultron after AvX? Hopefully Vision will get to shine again in that arc. Vision being taken down so easily by Havok and Polaris was just insulting.

I think that Bendis will be off Avengers when AvX ends. At the very least, he'd only have a couple issues.

Martian Manhunter was a Chicago detective?

I remember him as a Colorado police detective, but can't see how the Vision having a human identity and hanging out in bars, people-watching, is somehow "ripping" the Martian Manhunter. He was going to wind up going to work for a hi-tech engineering firm, not being a cop.

With the news out that Hickman is doing 2 Avengers titles and Remender is doing 1 (bi-weekly), the chances of seeing more Vision probably went up. Do we have any idea if Hickman has written any stories with Vision in it? Remender I don't think has included him yet in SA. I wonder if any of his Secrets will make it to Uncanny Avengers?

Anybody know where the Vision wnet after AVX #7? He seems to have disappeared from recent Avengers titles. I was hoping they would use him more after the high profile return prior to AVX. As was mentioned previously, maybe the Ultron War will be his chance to shine.
