Default Roger Stern / Lee Weeks - "Something can stop the Juggernaut"

Okay, I decided to create a thread on this storyline. When the heck is it coming out? I remember Roger mentioning it last year when his ASM #580 was coming out. Since then, nada. I'm starting to get impatient!

I haven't heard of it, but now that I have I can tell you that I would be on it like Blob on a box of doughnuts!!!! Both Stern and Weeks? Awesome! Make this happen Marvel!!!!

Me too. I was really stoked when I heard the news. I loved Stern's recent ASM story and although I doubt he'll top the original Juggernaut story, he will still do no wrong.

I am looking forward to read it as well.
I am guessing not much time after the Gauntlet is finished, since i remember Roger Stern saying in this forum that some of the art is already finished.

Uncle Rog and Lee Weeks on this has me very excited. Then again anything Spidey related that Uncle Rog is working on always gets me worked up for the issues.

I'm not positive, but I think they said it's one of those stories that editorial is holding onto when they need to fill-in a gap between the main story lines. So in case the schedule falls apart this can be put in.

    That's kind of a bummer.

Is this a single issue type deal? I could have sworn I read it was a full three issue arc somewhere.

Are you sure about? That's their policy for single issue stories, but this has been said to be a three-parter.

Nah, not positive. I just think that's what Stern said on here. I'm probably remembering it wrong though. May end up being a Gauntlet issue in Feb. or something.

    Patience, please.

All three issues have been plotted since February. Lee has finished the first issue...and I guess the second one (haven't seen that yet), as he told me that he's now working on the third issue.

Once Lee is finished, and I get to start scripting the pages, then Steve Wacker will be able to tell us where it's going to go.

Besides, while I've been waiting, I've written the YOUNG ALLIES special, the Aunt May story for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN FAMILY #7, and a story for CAPTAIN AMERICA #600...all of which wound up going on sale the same week this past June. Go figure!

In the meantime, I've plotted another single-issue story for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Don't know who is drawing that one.

And I'm currently about halfway through plotting a 4-issue miniseries...which (who knows?) might very well wind up being scheduled before the three-part Spider-Man/Juggernaut story that I first started over a year ago.

Unless they come out at the same time.
Hey, ya never know. Comics is a funny business.

Any hints you can give us regarding what these upcoming books are about, Mr. Stern?

Hey gang, just posted this to Mr.Wacker:
Any info as to when we can expect Roger Stern's "Something Can Stop the Juggernaut"? I've been looking forward to this ever since it was first mentioned.
Got the following images and response:
Weeks and White. Written by Woger WStern (who almost screwed up my alliteration there!)

"Seriously, where's the Hobgoblin when you need him?"--Peter Parker, Amazing Spider-Man Annual #36

"I'm being ignored more than Roderick Kingsley"--Me.
"Dorkiest joke ever. Use it at parties."--Steve Wacker (AKA J Jonah Wacker).
