This is what happens when you say Blake and Thor are separate entities. Its ridiculous. We were clearly shown the ability to transform into Blake was taken from Thor's hammer, Blake wasn't killed off page!

Blake is just his secret ID. Its no different than putting his hair up and giving him glasses. Having Blake/Olson/Joe Bloggs as his secret ID gives Thor more layers as a character. He's not just the brute who likes to smash things all the time.

Where did it all go wrong? How did we get in this mess? It was so easy before

When I read a writer who looks at the two differently my mind just thinks 'Oh, another writer who got it wrong'. What is even funnier is that Marvel doesn't even know what is up. The website is completely on board with the Blake= Thor, Thor=Blake concept. Even Avengers: The Origin went with it.

Its just the solo that makes it weird.

    [Level 1 antagonism]
Homer: Ned Flanders, I mock your value system. You also appear foolish to the eyes of others.
Ned: Well howdy, Homer! Thanks for dropping by!
    [Level 2 antagonism]
Homer: Past instances in which I professed to like you, were fraudulent.
Ned: Oh well. I'll just have to try harder. Thanks for dropping by!
    [Maximum hostility factor]
Homer: I engaged in intercourse with your spouse or significant other. Now that's psychiatry!

If a writer depicts Thor as just a brute who smashes things - with or without Blake, Olson, Masterson etc. - they should be yanked from the title immediately.

Now this thing is picking up some traffic. Good.

The second most mishandled of the 'major' characters in Marvel's storied history, behind Submariner.

I just readed Thor H&E #3 and it was a self contained story where Thor meets a catholic priest which doubt of his beliefs and make Thor think about his role and purpose, it's not bad but isn't great.

The first issue if remember well was some kind of ragnarok story where Thor has Loki imprissioned to avoid ragnarok from happening.

I'm not hyped by the mini, but I skipped the second issue so I'm not that reliable it might be getting better
My god has a hammer, your god was nailed to a cross. Any questions?

Someone must upload the images of the battle with the Celestials at the end of the Eternal Saga those pages where epic.

Especially after the Destroyer is melted and Thor completely battered throw down and then impale Arishem with the Odin sword.

I dont have a scanner at home so I can't but those images belong to this thread
