Well, I can hope that water isn't wet, but the glass on my desk will argue otherwise.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

Does Jeph Loeb realize that there are two different Marvel universes and that he's writing for the Ultimate one?

I haven't recovered from Ultimatum. Still not buying Ultimate Marvel, some how, this didn't change that.

I find it funny that this article doesn't mention this book is bi-monthly.

Loeb will also write the final two books of the revived Ultimate Comics imprint--"New Ultimates" with Frank Cho and "Ultimate X" with Art Adams. The former series picks up in March as a bi-monthly title focusing on the world's foremost superhero team

Jeez, could this book be starting off any worse schedule-wise considering it was announced so long ago, isn't launching until March and is only going to be bi-monthly?

This book also seems like it's really going to throw a monkey wrench into continuity, which considering this universe is only going to be 4 books is pretty ridiculous. Add that in with what appears to be Cho ignoring how certain characters are supposed to look in the Ultimate U (Iron Man, Loki, etc.), the weird schedule, and the redundancy of the title and this book is not piquing my interest.

Uh, could someone at Marvel please explain why I'm looking at 616 Iron Man in the Ultimate Universe?

this book is going to be pretty bad. while i love me some Cho art but i know that Loeb will have everyone act totally different than they are in Millar's book. any bets on when the book will be late for the first time? issue 2? 3?

Jeph Loeb, why do you hate the Ultimate Universe so much?

We just had a universe wide massive event of action. Why start ano.....you know, I don't blame Loeb for this. The entire industry has this problem of, "we need to make everything big. Every plot has to be a worldwide catastrophe."
