    I was at the Perez panel also. George mentioned that he was asked by DC if he was interested in working on a six page Spirit story. George said he was interested, but did not know who the writer was. The Spirit by Perez would be definitely be different, but yet cool.

    His recent work is still at such a high stellar standard. Brave and the Bold, 3 Legions.

    It can be argued that he's the best superhero comic artist of all-time. Certainly one of my favorites.
