I mean, really, if you look at Betty Paige's stuff, it's entirely tame and ... really ... almost asexual. She was gorgeous, and a wonderful model, but there just wasn't that much going on in her work, sexually. She certainly never saw as anything but just good fun.

I'd say that time was less innocent, more backwards and ignorant for the most part.Betty Paige lived in an even more innocent era as far as openness was concerned. She was working at a time when married couples had to be shown to have two beds. The idea of regular sex was nearly forbidden, let alone the type of wild sex that everyone is supposed to be having today.
