I saw it online a while back, and I wanna know if someone knows what I'm talking about. Wondy gets bound in mummy wraps by some egyptian thugs working for Cheetah, presumably in the past or something.
That would probably be this one
Which is a pretty good cover.
Someone asked for this one earlier.
To me she looks more surprised than worried though.

That's what made "12 Labors" so fondly remembered (although I'm sure it will be nowhere on the Top 100 Storylines) -- the whole damn series was like that. I commented on another thread about the infamous cover where Diana ties herself up with a bizarre smile on her face and begs soldiers to kill her -- well, Ralph Dibny was videotaping it. Now THAT'S kinky,
And yes, Hawkman was the biggest dick at that time -- on TWO planets. There's a reason Shayera spent so much time -- alone -- on the orbiting Thanagarian spaceship.
Classic "Hawkman is a douche" moment -- Diana needs to be in disguise for some reason -- don't remember the whole story --so Shayera suggests using one of her spare costumes. Our intrepid ultimate warrior/cop blurts out that it wouldn't work because HIS WIFE'S top would be too small for Diana. The look that Diana gives him is funny enough -- but the expression on Shayera's face tells you that there will be a lot of heavy mace usage once Diana gets off the ship.
The avatar STAYS -- even if DC doesn't want her, I DO.
RIP, Dwayne McDuffie; the world is a lot less fun without your intelligence and heart in it.
