Actually come to think of it, does it have to be fanart or can cosplay pics be submitted? In which case there are probably a few from Claire and I's "Pirvate collection" that'll fit this thread nicely!
I think it'd best keep to the pg-13 limit, I'm amazed this thread hasn't been yanked yet.

It's not that surprising, there are two threads like it on the X-boards and one on YABS that I started

But yeah, I don't think anything Claire and I do is "Pg-13" ;)

You must be kidding. THAT'S the first thing you think of?

    You clearly need more...experience darling!

And I always thought the first rule was be sure to remember the safe word? It's never a good idea to forget it around me

But things really got hot on the net when pages 6 and were revealed

I post these to illustrate a point. Let's face it Wonder Woman and bondage-in fact heroes and heroines and bondage-go together. Either the badguy ties them up after he defeats them or he kills them and that would be the end of all of the stories. Even mainstream artist indulge themselves.

Well of course they do. You don't think they have a kinky side like you and I? And I love that page

    Wonder Woman/Empowered crossover. Very funny.

Love Di's expression in that one.

If I were Empowered I might no be so quick to untie Diana there. She DOESN'T look happy!

For all of the times that Diana has been tied up I can't remember many that she has looked happy while being bound.

These two covers portray a Diana in peril, the second one very close to the theme of Diana being confronted in bed that we had in issue 37, but in neither of them do I feel (or felt since I've been collecting for a long while) that Diana was in real peril.

I don't know if the art has simply changed, I've changed or it is the fact that death is far more common these days for comic book characters, even if the deaths are only temporary.

I quite like this one, another take on 229, by Al Rio. He's done a couple of WW bondage cover re-imaginations.

This is one of the scarier covers from that time period.

Rare to see real menace in the villain. Diana has always been beautiful and destroying her face would be a act of vengeance that she could never really get away from.

How is Empowered anyway? I've always wanted to read it--is it just about the heroine getting tied up, or is there some more meat in the story?

Yeah, it's about this really incompetent young superherione and her attempts at reaching glory. It's a funny way of viewing the whole "superhero community".

Empowered started out as a joke but the writer kept adding layers and layers. Now it is one of the best light hearted heroine books out there, even though Emp gets tied up multiple times per issue its not purely a bondage book.

Cool--I was interested in giving it a shot when I read that Adam Warren's apparently going to release a monthly series, and while I don't mind well-done cheesecake in the slightest, I do prefer it to come with a more substansive meal, if you'll pardon the metaphor.
