These are some very good pictures; it's like bringing the Marston era Wonder Woman up to modern day standards; that's what I'm talking about; I hope JMS does something like this and your pictures would make a great template.
I'm just a little surprised that you, of all posters, posted such images. Great post and keep them coming.![]()

Vanguard, I'm trying to read that signature, but who drew those pics?
For starters, your various different reactions to Wonder Woman's portrayal in Secret Six? You really nick picked and appeared to be sensitive to Wonder Woman getting her hands dirty. Good you're a Wonder Woman bondage fan; nothing wrong with that; I am too, but I'm not as enthusiastic about bondage as some. I'm a casual bondage fan I guess you can say; seeing Wonder Woman in bondage is more of one of several types of portrayals I would like to seeing a lot more of in relation to Wonder Woman, but it is at the top of the list.![]()

I don't mind Diana getting her hands dirty. I have a problem with Diana being used as toilet paper by a bunch of characters that aren't fit to lick her boots and getting no payback for it. If Diana had punched Jeanette into high orbit at the end of that issue, I'd have no problem at all. A little bondage doesn't bother me at all. I like seeing Diana get tied up, but half the fun of seeing Diana tied up is imagining her breaking out of her bonds and rising again like the hero she is. In Secret Six, we didn't even get to enjoy that much. We didn't even see her escape. And we didn't see her get back at her abusers at all. That's what pissed me off. Not the bondage itself.
I agree with you. I like Wonder Bondage, but I don't want it to go back to being practically a required thing in her books. I DO think the bondage weakness should return. It makes a lot of sense and it isn't as easy to exploit as one might think. No, I don't want to see Diana get tied up in continuity every issue for no other purpose than titillation. But I do want to see it return as an interesting facet of her character.

I'm glad that some people get into this stuff. I know I don't. But, hey, to each his own. And, it's not because its Wonder Woman. I'm not into men being bound either.
Guess we have a diverse population here![]()

Okay, given who's holding her in this one, I'm a little unnerved, but Diana'll escape and punt the little bastard like a football, I'm sure.
