Churchill's new style is absolutely amazing, he's completely reinvented himself. I can't wait to see what he does next.

Hmm, in one of his cover sketches, he has Warren in his Angel costume but w/ metal wings. I wonder if that's just artistic license or a possible hint to a costume change or something.

Honestly, I sort of prefered his older style.

Still, the newer one looks cool. And it certainly fits the Hulk book.

I definitely wasn't a fan of his previous style. His work on Hulk, though, has been great. I really digg it.

Likewise I also miss the old Ian Churchill signature art. But his health problems justify the change. If it keeps him working I'm all for it. But one of my favorite books he did right after COVEN was issue one-hundred eighty of SUPERMAN where he ran into Dracula. With a very kickass look thanks to Ian's pencils and Norm Rapamund's inks.

art is okay... still seems like he is copying other's style. I am thinking that if mcg doesn't show back up soon, sales are gonna start tanking.

His style switch was a great move. He's definitely one of my favorite artists now and I'm really excited to see his creator owned work, especially if he carries over his more cartoony, stylized stuff now.

It's a huge improvement. I was never a fan of his overly-rendered, Jim Lee knockoff style, but this new, looser style is much more to my liking.

That kind of looks like the cover to issue 14 which had Angel in full-on Arcangel mode in the finished version.

    Have a good day.

Haha whups. Thanks for clearing that up. I don't follow any of the Hulk books anymore so that completely flew under my radar.

While I am kinda digging the new figure drawing approach I hope the circular shading spots do not become a regular thing because they kinda ruin this cover.

There have been some artists I've liked who changed their style to one I didn't like--but I am so totally digging Churchill's new style. I loved his earlier Marvel stuff and Coven sure enough, but this new style had me grinning from ear to ear...
Always remember this stuff isn't real.

I never liked Churchill's previous style. It felt way too much like a Jim Lee clone that never pulled itself out of the 90's, and actively turned me off whenever I saw it, but this---this is fantastic looking. I can't wait for more...I may actually pick up a comic just for the art for the first time in God knows when.
