This does look and sound more and more awesome by the hour.
And I am going to throw my guess that Al Simmons is the villain of this thing. Don't have a clue why, but he strikes me as the biggest possible character they could make the villain.

Did Whilce Portacio "loose" Wetworks as part of the Homage/Wildstorm/DC deal?
other than that, fun pages that take me back to my youth and freaking out over the image books, and it's very cool to see all these guys working on pages together like this, but yikes does a lot of the art look dated...

Looks interesting. Always love a new character.
Previously I knew I was onboard for just the first issue. Now I'm certain I'm on board for the full series after reading this story.
Here's my question, though -- if this thing is a success (which it really well should be), what next? Sure, I can go read the individual titles, but are all the individual titles going to build off IMAGE UNITED? I doubt it. Savage Dragon will continue to do his own thing, just as Spawn will do his.
What about a series of one-shots by Kirkman with each creator drawing them? THAT could be fun!

I ain't no hot dog, yo.
I love the one with that guy punching out that shark guy. I put that up on my computer background and it looks fantastic.
wow, that sucks.![]()
I mean if he and Jim lee are still pals, I'm sure Jim would give him back the rights to his, 'baby'. And since DC/WS isn't really doing anything with the characters, that I know of, in a major way, it must be killing him that he somehow sold off or lost his creations.![]()
Whilce didn't "loose" the rights he sold them to Jim Lee early on when he left Image and Lee in turn sold them to DC as part of his fat WildStorm deal. It is out of Jim Lee's hands.
Wetworks has been appearing in issues of both Stormwatch: PHD as well as WildCats and I believe they are going to be doing a Team Seven issue as part of World's End that has Dane from Wetworks returning as part of the team.
so is Invincible going to be in this, i hope not. I like that he stays out of stuff
