The Liefeld-ness of this comic is the only thing that will keep me away.
nothing could keep me away
Wow! Look at Witchblade! Woohoo!
Looking forward to this one.
We sure did miss you, 1995.

Now would be a good time as any for Image to make its move on the big 2. Not sure what that "killer project" or acquisition would be. How about Superman after 2013?![]()
i see this and it definitely peaks my interest...
then again, i see this and even with all of the star power, this could very easily become a forgettable book...
i guess, to me, the most ironic thing is, behind all of the hype surrounding the art...the actual story, i think, is going to make or break this thing...unfortunately, and i know there is only a couple pages leaked...it looks like the story is going to be light...
i really hope and hopefully this doesn't come off too cheesy...this somehow becomes a "thinker"...
I don't know if it's just me but something about the Image universe coming together just doesn't gel. It kinda looks like a bunch of characters put together for characters sake. It feels goofy..I can't get into this. It's a shame because I do like Kirkman.
This is such a cool project. I'm not expecting or hoping for the next WATCHMEN or DARK KNIGHT out of this, all I want is lots of fun and enthusiastic creators bringing it and based on the twitter feeds of Larsen and Liefeld, that enthusiasm is there in spades. This should be only two things - it should look good and be FUN, and I think we're getting that and more.

I ain't no hot dog, yo.
The project is a cool idea but these pages just look terrible. It really looks like a bunch of characters thrown on to the page and not a story. Don't comic book professionals preach about artists being able to convey the story through their art without the words?
They should have had the artists do full pages (or better a full comic) by themselves.
I do'nt know if it'll be light or cheesy, but Kirkman is the writer, so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that front.
Isn't better to see an unique, interesting exercise than something we've seen dozens of times before? As an artist and comic fan, this makes me curious about the crazyness of it all. On concept it seems feasible, but considering that every guy is a state apart and they talk through the phone/e-mails, things change quite a bit.
A jam cover is one thing. A six-issue jam mini thourgh the mail is another... It should be very fun, regardless.
Barricade looks really cool, Marc you've done it again!![]()

YEAHHHHH!!!!
Now, that's the cool stuff I need! A guy punching a shark by Silvestri and Overtkill by Liefeld and McFarlane! That made my day. can't wait for it.
