Now I kinda wanna see Sage and Morph from the 90s Animated Series on a team together...
...Anyway, serious answer time:
The only reason her outfits look better than the O5's is because she wasn't added to the team until the 2000s, and before that she was a member of Hellfire, with all the accompanied "Evil is Sexy" tropes that implies.
In all the reboots and First Class-style revamps, the O5 prove to be able to dress themselves just fine. It was just the stylistic sensibilities of the artists in the 60s and late 80s that make them look bad.
